THE ORGANISATION
Covering a land area from North of Bunbury to Walpole to Katanning, South West Natural Resource Management (NRM) is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to build healthy and productive ecosystems. The South West is within one of only 36 internationally recognised Global Biodiversity Hotspots, nature’s most important places. South West NRM delivers a wide range of programs and projects that build healthy and productive ecosystems with significant focus on threatened species conversation and sustainable agriculture. The Board is seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to lead this organisation and strategically support the interests of the community and environment.
THE ROLE
Based in the Bunbury offices, the Chief Executive Officer will provide strong innovative leadership internally to the organisation and its people, and externally to the organisation’s stakeholders, including setting direction, modelling appropriate behaviors, supporting and enabling staff, positioning the organisation to achieve its goals, and building the business. Whilst managing a small team, the Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for responding to the Federal Government’s Nature Repair Bill and supporting the agricultural organisations in the region.
REQUIREMENTS
If you have experience at an Executive level, exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills and a passion for natural resource management, we would like to hear from you. Demonstrated ability to provide strategic, business and financial planning and management will be essential to achieving targeted outcomes. The ability to deliver high level, innovative solutions will also be critical for success in this role.
THE PACKAGE
