Science is transforming conservation — partner with South West NRM and your business can be part of the future.
Biodiversity loss and climate change are accelerating, and without science-backed solutions, conservation efforts risk being ineffective.
South West NRM operates at the intersection of science, technology, and land restoration, working across both natural and farmed landscapes. With over 20 years of experience, we collaborate with leading research institutions to ensure our work is innovative and evidence-based.
We use eDNA technology to track pollinators, optimizing plant selection and boosting farm productivity. Sensor technology monitors invasive species, safeguarding threatened wildlife. Our flora and fauna monitoring ensures effective, scalable restoration.
By partnering with South West NRM, businesses, governments, and philanthropists can help drive measurable restoration—enhancing sustainability, meeting ESG goals, and securing a healthier planet for future generations.

We are collaborators
For over 20 years, South West NRM has partnered with businesses & communities to restore and sustain WA’s South West ecosystems.
Our team of environmental scientists and sustainable agriculture experts are hands-on changemakers, delivering evidence-based solutions that enhance biodiversity, productivity, and sustainability.
As the region’s leading environmental organisation and charity, we collaborate with landcare groups, Noongar communities, government, industry, and landholders. Independent and not-for-profit, we remain agile, responsive, and deeply trusted.
Rooted in science and respect, we uphold Traditional Custodian knowledge while leveraging cutting-edge research to protect and restore both natural and agricultural landscapes for future generations.
How we have helped
Feral cats are one of the most significant threats to Australia’s wildlife, killing a staggering 1.7 billion native animals per year.
To address this crisis, South West NRM conducted four trials using Felixer™ cat grooming technology—an innovative tool designed to target and reduce feral cat populations.
These trials successfully reduced feral cat activity by up to 49%, providing a scalable, science-backed solution for protecting native species.
By integrating cutting-edge monitoring and control strategies, we are making measurable progress in safeguarding Australia’s biodiversity.
